Michael Tadros

Founder & Managing Partner

Michael is the founder and managing partner of Trailview Partners. His passion for small business dates back to his youth, when he aided the growth of his family's retail business. That immersion provided Michael with a keen understanding of the dynamics faced by small businesses. Since that time, Michael has worked with middle-market companies in various capacities.

Early in his career, Michael co-founded a business that developed a physical therapy product focused on posture and breathing mechanics. He later joined John Hancock Financial Services, where he analyzed the operations and strategic initiatives of middle-market companies and provided various capital solutions for growth opportunities. He has extensive experience working with companies in a range of industries, including Business Services, Aerospace & Defense, Manufacturing, Financial Services and Energy. He advanced through several roles and ultimately took a leadership position on the firm's Investment Committee. He also took a pivotal role in the launch of a global, multi-million dollar asset management business. Michael later joined HCP & Company, a Chicago-based private equity firm, where he identified operational improvements at portfolio companies and led working groups to implement new initiatives.

Michael received an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business with concentrations in general management, operations management, and entrepreneurship. He earned a BS in Business Administration from Northeastern University with concentrations in finance and accounting.  Michael is also a CFA Charterholder. He grew up in Ashland, MA and currently lives in Chicago, IL with his wife.
