John Bingaman leads Iron Creek's investment and portfolio management activities. John served as Executive Chairman of SambaSafety, leading the Company’s strategic growth efforts, from 2011 through mid-2016. John currently serves as Chairman of the Board of CAI Software.

Prior to founding Iron Creek's predecessor entity, John was with Quadrangle Group LLC, a private investment firm based in New York City. While at Quadrangle Group, John was involved in numerous transactions in various sectors of media, communications, and business services. Prior to joining Quadrangle, John was with Salomon Smith Barney.

John earned a B.A. magna cum laude in economics from Harvard College. John resides with his family in Santa Fe, New Mexico.  John is actively involved in the community, serving as a Director for Santa Fe-based non-profit organizations NDI New Mexico and El Rancho de las Golondrinas.
